Adrian Van Allen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in exhibit development, anthropology, and multimedia design. Currently a Senior Exhibit Content Developer and Research Associate at the California Academy of Sciences since November 2016, Adrian also serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of Natural History. In addition, Adrian leads a project as an Abe Fellow at the Social Science Research Council, focusing on biodiversity preservation across Japan, France, and the USA. Adrian's background includes a PhD in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, along with various roles in prestigious institutions such as the Exploratorium and Kohler Co. Adrian's educational journey includes multiple MFA degrees and a BA in museum studies and photography from prominent arts colleges.
