Eddie Gomez, NOMA, AIA, NCARB, currently serves as the Historian on the Executive Board of SoCalNOMA and holds the position of Director of Science + Technology Architecture at Westgroup Designs. Previously, Eddie was a Senior Designer and Project Manager at Taylor Design, focusing on creating and maintaining team culture within the Science + Technology group, which expanded significantly during tenure. Prior experiences include key roles at Lionakis and Lundstrom & Associates, where responsibilities encompassed project management, design, and contributions to equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Eddie earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has further educational background from Benemeritas Universidad Autonoma de Puebla and Universidad de Guanajuato.
