Wasim El-Omari currently serves as Field CTO and Principal Security Architect at Snowflake since August 2021. Prior to this role, Wasim was the Regional Cyber Security Leader for Security Analytics at Cisco from January 2016 to August 2021. Wasim holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Charles Sturt University, completed between 2017 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the University of Sydney, obtained from 1997 to 2001.
