Siraj Memon is an experienced software engineer and peer mentor with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently, Siraj serves as a Peer Mentor at Plato since April 2022 and as a Software Engineer at Google since December 2020, contributing to Google Cloud and YouTube Live Interactivity projects. Previous roles include working as a Software Engineer at Motive, where foundational services for IoT devices were developed, and at VMware, where automated tools for source code migration were created. Siraj's academic involvement as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County includes teaching various computer science courses. Early experience includes internships at Cisco and Symantec, along with software engineering roles at Marvell Semiconductor, Microsoft Student Partner, and Amdocs. Siraj holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
