Asim Shankar is an engineering professional with a robust background in technology leadership and software development. Currently serving in an engineering role at Snowflake since May 2023, Asim previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Neeva from January 2019 until its acquisition by Snowflake. Prior experience includes a tenure at Google as a Senior Staff Software Engineer from July 2005 to January 2019, and a summer internship at Veritas Software in 2001-2003. Asim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
