Shae Selix is a seasoned software engineer with expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Snorkel AI since 2023, Shae specializes in ML Systems and Foundation Models. Previously, Shae was the first machine learning hire at Calm, holding the position of Staff Machine Learning Engineer from 2019 to 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Salesforce from 2016 to 2019, focusing on AutoML Platform development. Shae holds a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Brown University, along with additional education from Stanford University.
