Peter Corbett is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in storage architecture and infrastructure. Currently serving on the SNIA Board of Directors and as a Fellow, Senior Storage Architect at Dell Technologies since August 2021, Peter's previous roles include being a Fellow and Chief Technologist at HPE SimpliVity, where leadership of the Simplicity architecture team resulted in significant innovations in software-defined data paths and cloud-based lifecycle management. Prior to that, Peter held various leadership positions at NetApp, including Vice President and Chief Architect, overseeing a team focused on emerging technologies. Peter's early career included roles at IBM, where contributions to Lotus Notes and database technologies were made, as well as research at GE Corporate R and D. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and two degrees from the University of Waterloo.
