Richard Armstrong has over 30 years of work experience. Richard began their career in 1988 as an Executive in Mergers & Acquisitions at National Australia Bank. In 1992 they moved to Merrill Lynch as a Director in Investment Banking. In 2000 they joined Deutsche Bank as a Director in Corporate & Investment Banking. In 2005 they became the General Manager in Marketing & Customer Strategy at Coles Myer Limited. In 2007 they worked as a Senior Banker at BNP Paribas. In 2009 they were hired as a Managing Director in Corporate Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In 2015 they became the Managing Director in Corporate Finance & Restructuring at FTI Consulting. Most recently, in 2017 they were appointed as the Director of Snapscreen Australia.
Richard Armstrong completed a Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2014. From 1983 to 1986, they attended the University of Melbourne and obtained a BCom (Hons) in Economics. Richard also attended Xavier College, Melbourne prior to 1982.
