Kyle Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kyle currently holds the position of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Head of Innovation at Snappt Inc, where they are involved in the development and implementation of AI-enabled fraud detection technology for rental housing.

Prior to their current role, Kyle has held various positions such as a Member at Pavilion, a private membership organization for commercial growth operators, and a Limited Partner at Mana Ventures.

Kyle has also served as a Venture Partner at Interlock Capital, where they focused on finding, evaluating, funding, and supporting emerging companies based in Southern California. During their time at Interlock Capital, they had the opportunity to work with a community of founders, investors, and subject matter experts.

Before joining Interlock Capital, Kyle worked as an Advisor & Investor in the seed round at Rentgrata, a platform aimed at building community and increasing lead conversion for property management companies. Kyle also worked as a Client Director and later as a Senior Account Executive at Gartner, a leading research and advisory services company. At Gartner, Kyle focused on partnering with senior IT leaders within the CIO of Global High Tech companies and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

Additionally, Kyle has been involved in the venture capital industry as a Venture Partner at Forum Ventures, a leading early-stage fund, program, and community for B2B SaaS startups.

Outside of the tech industry, Kyle has been an Investor in both The Minte and WasteRetriever LLC, two companies focused on providing luxury housekeeping services and doorstep trash removal and recycling, respectively.

Kyle Nelson holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of North Florida.
