Thierry Beja has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thierry started their career as a Components Trader at K. Systems in 1999 and later worked as a Sales Team Leader at GE Capital. In 2002, they joined Computacenter as a Direct Marketing Manager. From 2005 to 2005, they worked at Greenpeace as a Brand Management Consultant. Thierry then joined Dell, where they held various roles such as Brand Manager for Southern Europe, Premium Product Marketing Manager for EMEA, Global Marketing Strategy Manager, and EMEA Advertising & Communications Manager. In 2014, they took a personal break and served as the Family World Tour Manager. Thierry later joined LLaume SA as a Senior Advisor, specializing in marketing strategy and advertising consulting. Additionally, from 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Caregiver for a sick family member, taking on responsibilities such as scheduling medical appointments and managing finances and legal affairs. In 2020, Thierry joined ProtonMail as a Product Director, leading a team of 15 members in developing Proton Drive and other privacy-focused services. Currently, they are working as a Product Team Lead at Smood since 2022.

Thierry Beja has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree in Business and Marketing from ISG Institut Supérieur de Gestion from 1996 to 1999.

In addition to their educational degrees, Thierry Beja has obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they received a Certificate of Proficiency in English C2 - Grade A - 223 from Swiss Exams - Authorized Provider for Cambridge English Exams. In October 2019, they completed the course "Digital Media and Marketing Strategies" from Coursera. In September 2019, they also completed the following courses from Coursera: "Digital Analytics for Marketing Professionals: Marketing Analytics in Practice", "Digital Analytics for Marketing Professionals: Marketing Analytics in Theory", and "Marketing in a Digital World". Furthermore, they obtained the certification of "Google Analytics for Power Users" from Google in August 2020. Lastly, in January 2015, they received the IPMA certification from VZPM - Association for the certification for persons in management.
