Ioannis Patlakas is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in backend development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Technical Lead at Smoobu since May 2019, Ioannis has also held roles as Senior Back End Engineer and Back End Engineer within the same company. Prior to Smoobu, Ioannis worked as a Backend Engineer at EDITION F GmbH from December 2016 to April 2019 and as a Full Stack Engineer at Quidro from September 2013 to November 2016. Early in the career, Ioannis gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics and the Network Centric Information Systems Laboratory. Ioannis holds both a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.
