Matt Parker is an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in grain procurement and sales strategy. Currently serving as the Senior Ingredient Logistics Manager at Smithfield Foods since April 2016, Matt oversees grain movement and merchandising across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, managing eleven grain elevators that handle ten million bushels annually. Prior to this role, Matt served as a Logistics Officer in the US Army from May 2007 to April 2016, where responsibilities included leadership positions such as Company Commander and various logistics-related roles encompassing field feeding, transportation, and maintenance.
