Silvia Quevedo, CAE, currently serves as the Executive Director at Smithbucklin since June 2022, after a brief tenure as Executive Director at Lamaze International in the same month. Previously, Silvia held the position of Director of Practice Guidance and Research at APIC from June 2015 to May 2022. Silvia's experience in the field of speech language pathology includes roles at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), where Silvia was the Associate Director of Academic Affairs & Research Education. Additional prior positions include Speech Language Pathologist at National Rehabilitation Hospital, University Hospital, and Inova Health System. Silvia holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Providence College and a Master of Science in Clinical Speech Language Pathology from the University of the District of Columbia.
