Chris Heistad is a seasoned software architect and manager with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving at Smith Micro since January 2008, Chris has held significant roles at companies such as PCTEL, Agilent Technologies, Motorola, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Chris began the professional journey as a software engineer at ComEd in 1994. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
