María Delgado is an accomplished student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Quantitative Economics at Smith College, expected to graduate in January 2025. Since February 2021, María has served as a member of the Class Deans Office and Dean of the College Office Advisory Boards, contributing to enhancements in the curricular and co-curricular student experience. In addition, María has managed financial transactions for over 100 student organizations as part of the Office of Student Engagement, ensuring compliance and solvency, and has played a key role in creating a welcoming campus environment. Previous internships include positions at Compass Lexecon, the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and the Office of the Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General. María graduated summa cum laude from Colegio Menor Quito in July 2020.
