Philippe Lavoie is a Senior Technical Architect at SMITH, with a tenure beginning in 1998. Philippe has been instrumental in analyzing and redesigning client architectures to achieve scalability, notably proposing a solution capable of handling one billion transactions annually, which garnered recognition as a top design by Forester. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer for Commerce Server 2009 R2 and Technical Architect for CommerceLive, focusing on e-commerce platform optimization. Philippe holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where a research associate position was held from 1993 to 1998.
