Peter Garneau, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of Talent Acquisition for North America at SMCP, a role held since August 2021, where responsibilities include end-to-end recruitment for field leadership roles and recruitment branding. Previously, Peter held a position as Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition and Operations at Mattress Firm, where duties involved executive search and employer branding, among other functions. From August 2016 to November 2020, Peter was the Talent Acquisition Manager at SMCP, focusing on the North America division of the global luxury fashion brand. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition for North America at Saks Fifth Avenue from 1999 to 2016, overseeing full-cycle recruitment for retail stores and corporate areas. Peter Garneau earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management & Human Resources Development from the University of Connecticut School of Business between 1980 and 1984.
