Ian Richards is a seasoned aerospace executive with extensive experience in asset management and engineering consultancy. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Asset Management at SMBC Aviation Capital, Ian has also held leadership roles such as Managing Director at Aerospace Design & Engineering Consultants Pte Ltd and CEO of AeroDEC Ltd. Ian's expertise includes aircraft modification and lease transitions, developed through a position at Independent Aerospace Consultants and previous project management experience at Mil-Com Aerospace Pte Ltd. Ian holds a MSc candidate degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, complemented by a BTEC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Witney College.
