Kim Gartner has extensive experience in event management and sales. Kim is currently working as a Senior Manager of Events at SmartRent, where they started in November 2021. Prior to SmartRent, Kim was an Account Executive at streamlinevents, inc. from April 2021 to November 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, Kim worked at YAM Worldwide, first as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at PXG from December 2016 to July 2019, and then as the Director of Sales at The Yamwood Foundry from July 2019 to May 2020.

Before YAM Worldwide, Kim had a significant tenure at GoDaddy. Kim joined GoDaddy in June 2010 and worked as the Senior Director of Corporate Events until December 2016. In this role, Kim managed and executed over 100 corporate events annually, including large-scale holiday parties, and collaborated with C-level stakeholders on event strategies. Kim was responsible for the full life cycle planning, budgeting, and logistics of the events.

Earlier in their career, Kim worked at Southwest Conference Planners as a Senior Account Executive from July 2004 to May 2010. Kim also worked as an Account Executive at TMM - The Meeting Manager from July 2002 to July 2004.

Kim Gartner holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include the Cvent Event Creation certification from Cvent in September 2020, Learning Salesforce certification from LinkedIn in September 2020, International Wine Guild certification from the International Wine & Spirits Guild in October 2017, Digital Event Strategist Certification from PCMA in September 2021, and Cvent Hybrid Events Certification from Cvent in May 2021.
