Dan Edwards has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and positions. Dan currently works at SmartRent as a Principal Engineer, starting in June 2022. Before that, they worked at NetRoadshow as a Principal Software Engineer from April 2018 to June 2022. Prior to NetRoadshow, they worked as a System Architect at Vertical Communications from September 2014 to March 2018. Dan also served as VP of Product Development at Voice4Net from July 2007 to September 2014. Before that, they founded and served as the President of Contact Point Consulting from September 2001 to June 2007. Dan also served as President of Contact Point Technologies from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Operations at Caleo Software from 1995 to 1996, as a Software Specialist at Scientific Software from 1991 to 1995, and as a Project Manager at Computer Communications Specialists, Inc. from 1986 to 1991.

Dan Edwards pursued their undergraduate education from 1979 to 1983 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information & Computer Science during this time.
