Karen Pavard is an experienced HR professional currently serving as a SmartPA Partner at SmartPA since September 2021, specializing in outsourced back office support and managed services. Previously, Karen held the position of HR Manager at Age Concern Hampshire from June 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing recruitment, complex payroll for over 100 employees, and implementing new HR processes. From May 2001 to May 2018, Karen was the Head of HR at WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN LOGISTICS TERMINALS (UK) LIMITED, overseeing all HR functions, managing payroll for 150 employees, and leading projects to implement new HR information systems. Karen holds several qualifications, including SmartPA Accreditation and CIPD qualifications, along with a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management and Services and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Huddersfield.
