Thomas Kuhlke has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Thomas started their career as an Internship Trainee at Daimler AG in 1986 and later had a similar role at Porsche AG in 1988. Thomas then joined the EDAG Group in 1990, where they gradually grew from a Designer to a Senior Manager in various design areas, including Interior, Exterior, Body in White, and Overall Vehicle Design. During their time at EDAG, they were responsible for the development and management of multiple development projects for car manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Peugeot, Renault.

In 2006, Thomas joined Ylipson GmbH as a Senior Manager in Project and Supplier Management. Thomas handled numerous large-scale projects for clients like Airbus, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, and other organizations in aerospace, shipbuilding, and plant construction sectors. Additionally, they also led internal projects focused on business process digitization in various departments like HR, Quality, Supplier and Project Management, Controlling, and ERP/CRM systems.

In 2018, they briefly worked at GREIF-VELOX as the Head of Project Management before becoming self-employed in 2020. Currently, Thomas is involved with SmartLoC - Smart Letter of Credit GmbH, where they hold the position of Co-Founder, COO, and handles Operations & Processes.

Thomas Kuhlke studied at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing- degree in Automotive Engineering. In addition to their academic education, they have also acquired several certifications. In September 2019, they obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org. In the same month, they also received a certification in Digital Business Innovator from karriere tutor GmbH. In October 2019, Thomas acquired a certification in Marketing Intelligence, also from karriere tutor GmbH. Lastly, in December 2019, they obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org.
