Dr Joseph Atkin is a Structuring Manager at SmartestEnergy with experience in product development, project delivery, and financial optimization of flexible generation assets. Previously, Dr Joseph worked at ENGIE as a Development Manager and Energy and Renewables Originator. Prior to that, Dr Joseph was a PhD student at the University of York, where Dr Joseph researched organic methodology. Dr Joseph also has experience in specialty chemical synthesis and teaching assistance.
