Robert Leach is an accomplished quality control (QC) professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as QC Manager at Procella Therapeutics AB since February 2023, Robert previously founded Advanced Therapies Consulting Limited, offering QC consultancy services for cell and gene therapy manufacturers. Robert has held multiple QC Manager roles, including at Instil Bio, where responsibilities included the establishment of QC laboratories for autologous TIL cell therapies, and Cellectis, focusing on the manufacturing quality of allogeneic CAR T-cells. Prior experience includes a QC Scientist position at Covance Laboratories, where Robert ensured compliance with GMP regulations, and diverse academic roles at the University of Leeds, including senior postdoctoral fellowships in protein chemistry and cardiac research. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Protein Chemistry from the University of Leicester and a B.Sc. with honors in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool.
