Christina McCollum, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries and roles. Christina is currently the Head of ESG and Diversity at SmartBear, having started in October 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief of Staff at SmartBear from March 2020 to October 2022, where they played a crucial role in supporting the executive team. From September 2019 to February 2020, they were the Manager of Executive Administration at SmartBear, and from October 2017 to August 2019, they served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
Outside of their work at SmartBear, Christina also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design from September 2019 to October 2022. Prior to that, they founded and led My Art Boston from December 2013 to June 2016, where they offered personalized art experiences to clients.
Christina has also held teaching positions as an Adjunct Faculty member at Montclair State University from 2010 to 2013 and Brooklyn College from 2009 to 2013.
Before entering the education and technology sectors, Christina worked as a Freelance Private Art Guide from 2009 to 2013, offering custom museum and gallery tours in New York City and Boston. Christina also worked as a Gallery Consultant at Ricco/Maresca Gallery from 2008 to 2013.
Early in their career, Christina gained experience through internships at the American Folk Art Museum in 2006, where they assisted with event planning, member outreach, and archival tasks. Christina also completed two summer internships at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans in 2003 and 2004, focusing on development work.

Christina McCollum obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from New York University from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Art History, Criticism at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, from 2006 to 2017.
