Alfredo Mameli currently serves as Cluster Lead at SMART Photonics since January 2024 and holds the position of Executive Editor at Atomic Layer Deposition since July 2022. Previously, Alfredo was a Research Scientist at Holst Centre from June 2018 to December 2023 and completed a PhD as a student at Eindhoven University of Technology from May 2014 to July 2018. Alfredo's early experience includes an internship in the Department of Chemistry, Materials Science and Technology at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" from December 2012 to December 2013, focusing on the growth of epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide and via chemical vapor deposition on copper. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, a Master's degree in Materials Science and Technology from the University of Bari, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the same institution.
