Julia Kirk has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Julia is currently the Head of Supplier Management at Smart DCC since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Department of Health and Social Care from May 2021 to December 2022, first as the Commercial Contract Management Lead and then as an Interim Contract Manager. Before that, they had a long tenure at British Gas, where they held various roles such as Outsource Performance Manager, Outsource Performance Analyst, Contact Center Manager, Process Manager, and Customer Service Manager from 1998 to 2020. In their role as Process Manager, they were responsible for process improvement, establishing controls and governance, tracking benefits and costs, and assessing the impact of process changes.

Julia Kirk obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of South Wales. Julia attended the university from 1995 to 1998.
