Jelani Memory is a seasoned leader in the media and publishing industry, currently serving as VP & Publisher at DK since July 2024, where the focus is on expanding the influential A Kids Book About series. As a Partner at Vanport Studio since June 2024, Jelani Memory supports aspiring entrepreneurs in their business ventures. In addition, Jelani Memory founded A Kids Co. in October 2019, a media company committed to empowering children through diverse storytelling. As a Board Member for both SMART Reading and Portland Center Stage at The Armory, Jelani Memory contributes to initiatives aimed at enhancing educational access and cultural engagement in Oregon. Previously, Jelani Memory co-founded Circle Media Inc., holding the role of Chief Creative Officer until January 2019. Educational background includes a BA in Bible/Theology and Greek from Multnomah University, completed in 2006.
