Karan Singh has extensive work experience in the sales and marketing field in the solar energy industry. Karan started their career in 2010 at Wipro Eco Energy as an Assistant Manager-Business Development, where they focused on targeting new and existing markets, gathering competition information, and identifying strengths and opportunities. In 2013, they joined Waaree Group as Deputy Manager Sales in North India. Karan then moved to SMA Solar - India in 2014, where they held the positions of Sales Manager for North India and later for South India. In 2018, they joined SMA Solar - South East Asia and South Asia as a Sales Manager for South East Asia and South Asia. Karan then advanced to the role of Director - Sales & Marketing South East Asia & South Asia in 2019 before becoming the Director - Sales & Marketing India, SEA & South Korea in 2022.

Karan Singh earned a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2006 to 2010. Karan then pursued an Executive MBA in Business and Corporate law from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2023. Before these degrees, they completed their AISSCE in Science from St. Pauls School between 1993 and 2006. Additionally, they received a certification in "Asking Great Sales Questions" from LinkedIn in 2019.
