Teresa McCombs is an experienced geologist with a strong background in operations and exploration geology. Currently serving as Operations Geology Supervisor at SM Energy Company since March 2018, Teresa has held various roles including Senior Geologist for both the STX Asset and South Texas & Permian Operations. Responsibilities include developing geologic prognoses, geosteering wells, and evaluating geologic quality throughout the drilling process. Prior experience includes consulting roles at Malesardi Geologic Consulting, where expertise in unconventional resource exploration was applied, and positions at Noble Energy, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, and Devon Energy, focusing on well planning, development, and geologic characterization. Teresa holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines.
