Joe Scarfarotti has over 25 years of progressive experience in accounting and taxation. Currently serving as the Lead Revenue Accountant and Lead Tax Supervisor at SM Energy Company since February 2005, Joe has also held the position of Senior Tax Accountant within the same organization. Prior experience includes roles as a Tax Accountant at Tomkins Corporation from 2001 to February 2005, Telecommunications Inc. from 1996 to 2001, and Jeffrey Hanretty CPA from 1995 to 1996. Joe's educational background includes studies at the College of St. Rose, MVCC, Niagara University, and Utica Free Academy, further establishing a solid foundation for a successful career in the accounting field.
