James Erlandson has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Regional Operations Manager at SM Energy Company since July 2010, where roles have also included Delineation Manager and Production Operations Manager for the Rockies Region. Prior to this, James held the position of Business Development Manager at St Mary Land & Exploration from January 2008 to July 2010. James began their career as an Engineer at BPI Energy, Inc. from August 2006 to January 2008, after working as an A & D Engineer at Burlington Resources from November 2000 to August 2006, and as a Production Engineer at Marathon Oil Company from June 1997 to November 2000. James earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Technological University between 1993 and 1997.
