Adam Kimmich has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1998, they served as an Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader and Assistant Battalion Operations Officer in the 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division (Light) until 2000. From 2002 to 2005, they were a Special Forces Detachment Commander in the Army Special Forces (Airborne). Adam then joined the Special Operations Command Pacific as part of the Special Activities Division from 2005 to 2007. In 2009, they became a Commander for Bravo Company in the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and later served as the Director of Operations for the same battalion until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Adam worked as the Director of Operations for the Interagency Partnership Program at USSOCOM. In 2015, they transitioned to the US Army and became a Battalion Commander until 2017. From 2017 to 2023, they worked at the Morris-Shea Bridge Company, Inc., initially as an Operations Manager and later as the Director of Business Development. Finally, in 2023, they assumed the role of President & CEO at SLS Services.
Adam Kimmich received a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree from Texas McCombs School of Business from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College in 2009. In 1997, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering at Vanderbilt University.
