Verhonda Darrell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance and legal sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Slide since November 2023, Verhonda previously held the position of Senior Associate General Counsel at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company from November 2022 to November 2023. Prior roles include Associate General Counsel at Heritage Property & Casualty Company and Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, as well as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida. Verhonda began a career in law as an Associate Attorney at CHOICE LEGAL GROUP LLC, specializing in creditor rights. Verhonda earned a Juris Doctorate in Law from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, College of Law from 2008 to 2011.
