Jason Taylor has over 25 years of experience in various roles within the engineering and program management field. Jason'smost recent position is as Senior Program Manager at KYOCERA SLD Laser, where they started in May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at American Management Association as an Instructor in Project Management starting in 2016. From 2015 to 2019, Jason was the Senior Manager of Integral Programs at Lumileds. Jason also held a position as Director of Technology and U.S. Operations at Wisdom IC from 2012 to 2015. Jason spent a significant portion of their career at SVTC, where they held multiple roles including Senior Program Manager, Engineering Manager - Thin Films/Diffusion, and Process Technology Development Staff Member. Before that, they worked as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Collinear Corporation from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they were a Staff Engineer-CVD/Diffusion at MVC from 2004 to 2006, and a Senior Process Engineer at Micrel from 1997 to 2004. Jason started their career as a Chemical Engineer II at SRI International from 1994 to 1997, where they performed pilot plant scale-up of specialty chemicals.

Jason Taylor's education history includes a Master's degree in Electronic Materials and Devices from San Jose State University, as well as a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, also from San Jose State University. Jason has obtained various certifications such as "Setting Up a PMO" and "The Top PMO Challenges" from LinkedIn in May 2023, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2014, a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org, and they are currently in progress of obtaining a Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Jason also has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Lumileds.
