Lauro Gasga is a Geosolutions Geophysicist at Schlumberger since May 2022, specializing in seismic processing. Involved with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Lauro serves as the Vice-Chair for the LACR Student - Young Professional Chapter Leadership Summit and previously held roles as Companies Liaison and Educational Liaison for AAPG Young Professionals Mexico. Prior experience includes working as an Exploration Geophysicist at SEG EVOLVE, where responsibilities included seismic integration, prospect generation, and risk analysis, as well as serving as a Strategic Partnership Specialist at ACE Internacional. Leadership experience encompasses serving as President of the AAPG IPN Student Chapter, focusing on fostering opportunities in the geoscience community. Lauro completed a Bachelor's degree in Geophysical Engineering at Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 2016 to 2021.
