Meryl Closs currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Marketing at SlateRx since October 2023. Prior to this role, Meryl held various positions at Elixir from November 2017 to October 2023, including Senior Content Marketing Manager and Content Marketing Manager. Meryl's experience also encompasses roles at Summa Health, where Meryl worked as Development Communications Manager and in Digital Content for the Summa Health Foundation from July 2015 to October 2017. Meryl's career began at the American Heart Association, where Meryl advanced through multiple roles including Communications Director, Marketing Director, and Director of Heart & Stroke Initiatives over a twelve-year period from October 2003 to July 2015. Meryl holds a degree in Business and Organizational Communication with a minor in Music from The University of Akron, obtained between 2000 and 2003.
