Matthew Barnett is a highly experienced legal and sports consulting professional currently serving as a Partner at Slate Point Partners since February 2024 and as an Attorney at the Law Offices of Matthew Barnett since June 2019. With a long-standing commitment to sports, Barnett has been the President of 54 West Group, a sports consulting and sponsorship agency, since February 2011, and has also contributed to the sports community as an Offensive Line Coach at Rampart High School since August 2014. Prior roles include COO/Co-Founder of Sports Virtual Training Systems from April 2016 to April 2019, and Of Counsel at Holland & Hart LLP from June 2014 to July 2015. Barnett has held several attorney positions, including Deputy Commissioner & General Counsel for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Partner at Holme Roberts & Owen. Barnett earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
