Rahul Grover has a diverse work experience spanning over many years in various positions. Rahul began their career as a Software Engineer at Mahindra Satyam, where they developed software solutions and conducted component testing. Rahul then worked as a Senior Developer at Sun Life Financial, where they consistently applied tools and processes to develop high-quality applications. At HCL Technologies, Rahul served as a Technical Lead, contributing to architecture and solutions design and delivering cost estimates. Rahul joined NextGen Gaming as a Senior Engineer for a brief period before moving to Westpac Group as a Technical Lead. At Westpac, Rahul led a team, implemented Apache Cassandra and Spark, and designed solutions for various business implementations. In 2018, they joined Macquarie Group as a Senior Manager and later became the Director of Engineering in Cyber Security, driving strong Cloud engineering culture and cost savings in AWS Cloud infra spending. Currently, Rahul holds the position of Principal in Platform Engineering at Slalom Build.

Rahul Grover completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kavikulguru Institute of Technology & Science, Ramtek, Nagpur from 2002 to 2006. Rahul also attended St Joseph's Academy from 1993 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Database - Specialty, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate. Rahul is also certified as a Certified Scrum Master and holds the IBM Certified Solution Designer - Object Oriented Analysis & Design, v UML 2 certification along with the IBM Certified Solution Designer - Rational Application Developer certification. Additionally, they hold the Sun Certified Java Programmer 6.0 certification.
