Solvej Beran Berlau is an experienced educator and author specializing in Holocaust and genocide education. Currently serving as a teacher trainer at Forlaget Columbus since March 2023, Berlau collaborates with Stine Thuge to offer courses for history teachers based on the book "Vejen til folkedrab," which addresses genocide and uses the Holocaust as a historical case. With a strong background in academia and practical teaching, Berlau has held various positions, including board member at Humanity in Action and history and social science teacher at Slagelse Gymnasium and Herlufsholm Skole og Gods. Prior experience includes project management at the Danish Institute for International Studies and guest lecturing at universities, focusing on educational approaches to Holocaust studies. Berlau holds an MSc in International Development Studies and History from Roskilde University.
