Marije van Helvoort is an experienced professional in the field of social work and victim support. Currently serving as a Casemanager at Slachtofferhulp Nederland since March 2023, Marije previously held leadership and therapeutic roles at various organizations, including Team Leader at Van der Hoeven Kliniek and Sociotherapist positions at De Forensische Zorgspecialisten, Astare, and the Ministry of Security and Justice. Marije began the career as a Begeleider at SBWU and as a psychiatrisch pedagogisch hulpverlener at Intermetzo, specializing in youth care. Marije holds a bachelor's degree in social work from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and completed a mediation foundation course in late 2022.
