Signe Maskell Knudsen is an experienced biodiversity advisor at SLA since February 2017, specializing in interdisciplinary collaboration to develop nature-based solutions that reconnect nature with urban environments. Currently pursuing a PhD titled "Growing Knowledge of Urban Nature" in partnership with Oldenburg University and the University of Copenhagen, Signe aims to enhance plant utilization in design for climate adaptation projects. Prior roles include urban nature consultant at Ramboll and at SLA A/S, where significant contributions included biodiversity education and involvement in climate adaptation projects for Copenhagen Municipality. Signe's educational background includes degrees in biology, urban ecology, biodiversity from the University of Copenhagen, alongside project management training from Promentum Academy.
