Ben Abbott is a highly experienced engineering professional with an extensive background in the development of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters and duplexers, primarily focusing on RF filters for mobile devices. Currently serving as Technical Director at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. since January 2018, Ben has also held the position of Design Engineer Fellow at Qorvo, Inc. since January 2015. Ben's career includes significant roles such as Design Engineering Fellow at TriQuint Semiconductor and Sr Member of Technical Staff at Sawtek, along with earlier positions as R&D Engineer at RF Monolithics and Consultant at Martin Marietta. Ben's academic achievements include a BSE, MSE, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, attained between 1980 and 1989.
