Jim Bethmann

Advisory Board Director at Skyminyr

Jim Bethmann has extensive work experience in various leadership and advisory roles. Jim started their career in 1994 at the University of Texas at Austin, where they served as a Board Member for the CIBER program until 2013. In 1997, they became an Advisory Board Member for the Masters in HR Program at the University of South Carolina, a role they held until 2019.

In 2006, Jim joined TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. as a Board Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee, a position they held until 2016. Jim also served as a Board Director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee at Netcordant, Inc. from 2008 to 2013.

From 2009, Jim worked at The Caldwell Partners as a Managing Partner. Jim then became a Managing Director at Capellas Partners from 2016 to 2021.

Currently, Jim is serving on the Board of Trustees at the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board at Balboa Geolocation Inc. Jim is also an Advisory Board Director at Skyminyr.

Additionally, Jim has served on the Advisory Board of ARC9 from 2011 to 2016. Their career spans a range of industries and demonstrates their expertise in leadership and advisory capacities.

Jim Bethmann has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technology Management/Business from the United States Naval Academy. Jim also has a Master's degree in HR ADVISORY BOARD from the Darla Moore School of Business, which they obtained between 1998 and 2017.
