Alex Hayward is a data scientist with a diverse background in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Skylight since February 2024, Alex previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at BlueConduit and as a Data Scientist and Intern at Prudential Financial, where core research focused on ethical data and AI use. Notably, Alex was a Data Science Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, identifying disparities in grant allocations, and a fellow at UChicago Medicine, proposing data-driven health policies. Alex holds a B.S. in Data Science with a specialization in Engineering from the University of Chicago, complemented by earlier roles in financial education and research assistance.
