Patrick Lowe is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in developing autonomous unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and advanced engineering projects. Currently serving as Subteam Lead at Skydio since July 2016, Patrick has led the development of stabilized camera systems for UAS. Previous roles include working as a Research Scientist at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where design and integration were key for UAV projects, and as a Hardware Development Engineer at Amazon Prime Air, focusing on propulsion system testing. Patrick's diverse background encompasses positions at notable organizations such as Twitch, MIT Motorsports Formula SAE, and LiquidPiston, Inc., where skills in CAD, machine learning, and systems engineering were honed. Patrick holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
