Mark Crawford is the Head of Caterpillar Ventures at Caterpillar Inc., overseeing early-stage company investments and corporate innovation initiatives in sectors such as electrification, energy storage, and mining technology since November 2022. In addition to this role, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for Skycatch and holds advisory board positions at Maroon Invest Global and the University of Delaware as a Venture Capitalist in Residence. Mark's past experience includes serving on the boards of HIVOT, Prieto Battery, and FORT Robotics, and as Managing Director at Stanley Ventures, where strategic investments focused on startups in additive manufacturing and IoT technologies were made. Mark holds an M.B.A. from American University, a BA from Tufts University, and a certificate from the Venture Capital Institute.
