Head Of IT Service & Broadcast Operations - Technology at SKY Network Television

Nev Jordan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nev has held various roles in different companies, starting in 1996 with their television internship in wildlife at Tekweni Productions. After that, they worked as an investment support clerk in the banking sector at UBS - Warburg Dillon Read and the Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2000, they became a producer/director in corporate and sport at the Old Mutual TV Production Centre. Nev then worked as a freelance cameraman in sport for TVNZ, TV3, and SKY TV from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they were an editor/VT operator/cameraman in sport at Sky Television in 2003-2004. In 2004-2005, Nev was a media operator in advertising at Oktobor Animation. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a producer/director in tourism and documentary at Chill Media Limited. In 2007, they joined Sky Television as an online editor in the broadcast and media department, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2019, Nev worked at Sky New Zealand in various roles, including head of service & operations - technology, head of broadcast services - broadcast & media, central services executive - broadcast & media, and operations manager - Olympic/Commonwealth Games.

Nev Jordan obtained a Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University from 2021-2023. Additionally, in 2022, they earned an ITIL v.4 Certification in IT Service Management from ALC Training. Prior to this, Nev received a Certificate in Effective Management in Television from The University of Auckland in 2015. In earlier years, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Diploma of Education with a focus on Video and Electronic Media at Durban University of Technology.
