Miguel Pinto is an accomplished engineering manager and software engineer with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently, Miguel serves as an Engineering Manager at Sky since January 2019, following a role as a Senior Software Engineer. Previously, Miguel worked at World First, where responsibilities included developing critical compliance services and creating Java applications using Spring Boot and Kafka. At Swissquote, Miguel contributed as a Software Engineer, leading the development of a white-label trading application and managing technical decisions. Earlier career highlights include developing Java web-based applications at CERN and enhancing maritime control systems at Neos IT. Miguel began the professional journey as a Software Developer intern at Tangivel while pursuing an MSc in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, completing the degree in 2010.
