Juan Melian is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in agile software development and microservices architecture across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Sky since October 2022, Juan is involved in geo-localisation services for Comcast/Sky video streaming platforms. Prior to this role, Juan held positions such as VP - Application Architect and Developer at Credit Suisse, where contributions included the implementation of an event-based application for portfolio valuation. With a strong background in technologies including Java, Kotlin, Cassandra, and Kubernetes, Juan has also worked with notable organizations like ITV, Expedia Group, and the Government Digital Service. Juan holds degrees in Informatics from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
